CKone, the fragrance from Calvin Klein, has joined forces with Emap’s Kiss Network and Global Radio’s Galaxy Network in a unique DJ talent search to find the best new mixing/scratching DJ in the UK. Intamixx reached the finals and battled it out with five other djs in a special CKone radio show broadcast live over the world on KISS 100.
Intamixx's dj talents were showcased during the 2-hour special which saw DJ Matt mix and perform thumping scratches through a 8 minute set of Dance, House, Old Skool Breakbeats. The programme featured interviews with Killa Kela, DJ Swerve (Kiss), Andi Durrant (Galaxy), Rafik (DMC World DJ Champion) and Dipesh Parmar (Ministry of Sound).

The search is over for the BBC Asian Network Mix Award winner as DJ MixxMaster Matt & Jazz Kalsi took the crown, entertaining an enthralled crowd at the Clothes Show Live. Impressing a star line up of judges with mixes of old skool electro, hiphop scratches, drum & bass & bhangra beats, Matt scooped the prize beating off the competition in a very close battle of the decks. Intamixx Music Company's new track entitled 'Cybertron Clear' has appeared on a Cultural Mix CD compilation album that has been distributed to over 600 radio stations worldwide. The compilation represents the modern Asian music scene with bands & artists from the UK. Featured artists alongside include Talvin Singh, Nitin Sawhney, Amar and Joi to name just a few. The accompanying CD booklet includes information about each featured artist and is translated into 4 languages.

Halo Radio has worked in conjunction with the French equivalent of the BBC World Service - RFI (Radio France International) to produce the final CD.
